Do try this recipe at home and share your experience with us in the comments section. <br /> <br />Ingredients:- <br /> <br />6-7 pieces of Arbi or Eddoe or Taro Root <br />Rice Flour <br />1 Tsp Cumin Seeds <br />1 Tsp Fennel Seeds <br />1 Green Chilli, Slit <br />1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder <br />1 Tsp Coriander-Cumin Seed Powder <br />1 Tsp Chat Masala <br />1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder <br />Juice of Half a Lime <br />Salt to Taste <br />Oil <br /> <br /> <br />Method:- <br /> <br />1.Boil the Arbis in salt water for 15-18 minutes. Let them cool down completely and peel them. <br /> <br />2.Cut the Arbi in 1/2 inch pieces. Apply some oil to palms and press down the Arbi piece in your palms to make a patty. <br /> <br />3.Dust the Arbi patties with 2 tbsp of Rice Flour and toss it well in the bowl. <br /> <br />4.Heat 2 tbsp Oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, curry leaves and a green chili. <br /> <br />5.Put the Arbi patties in the pan and shallow fry them on low heat till they turn slightly brown. <br /> <br /> <br />Spice Mix:- <br /> <br />Take red chili powder, coriander-cumin seed powder, chaat masala, turmeric powder and salt in a bowl and mix it well. <br />Add the spice mix to the frying Arbis and toss it all in the pan to give it a proper mix. <br />Squeeze lime juice of half a lime. <br /> <br />Garnish with coriander and delicious Arbi Masala is ready to serve.
